Nick and Tesla's High-Voltage Danger Lab:

A Mystery with Electromagnets, Burglar Alarms, and Other Gadgets You Can Build Yourself

By: Bob Pflugfelder and Steve Hockensmith

Spending the summer with eccentric Uncle Newt is not what twins Nick and Tesla would have wished but it soon becomes clear that it will be an interesting experience.  Drawn to a supposedly deserted mansion nearby, the twins are quickly drawn into a mystery.  Using materials found in their uncle’s home lab, the twins create gadgets that can be replicated using the instructions included in the book.
